Connell High School was represented well again this year with a lot of All-League selections, with a total of 26 athletes being recognized.
Cross Country (Girls) had Kianna Holst (9), Jacey Naef (11), and Kaitlyn Freeman (11) were all named to the 2nd Team.
Cross Country (Boys) had Dallin Price (10), Nolan Chase (12), Peyton Berg (12) and Maeson Holst (11) named to the 1st team, along with Sam Keskitalo (10), Jacob Freeman (9), and Abelardo Morales Flores (10) being named to the 2nd team. They also named Coach Dan Colby as Boys Coach of the Year. Cross Country (Boys) got 1st in the SCAC East, got 1st in Districts, and placed 3rd in state!
Football had RB Jekoby Tuttle (11), WR Payton Riner (12), OL Tony Herrmann (12), and OL Anthony Peralta (12) named to 1st Team Offense, while 1st team defense consisted of DL Tony Herrmann (12), DL Vicente Rodriguez (11), and DB Payton Riner (12). OL Vicente Rodriguez (11) got 2nd Team Offense and DB Austin Smith (12) got named to 2nd Team Defense, and DL Anthony Peralta (12) received an honorable mention for defense.
Soccer (Girls) starts with Co-Player of the Year (MVP) Center Back Mattie Mauseth (12), 1st Team Defender Madison Smith (10), 2nd Team Keeper Alma Manzo (12), 2nd Team Forward Zahira Barragan (11), and Midfielder Annabel Keskitalo (10) got an honorable mention.
Volleyball had three named to 1st Team: MH Alyssa Radke (10), S Allison Smith (12) , and MH Emma Andrewjeski (10); two for 2nd Team: OH Ashley Walker (10) and RH Kierra Brandt (11); and lastly an honorable mention for OH Ellie Benson (12).
