Remie DeRuwe - Chairman District 1 - Connell Rural
Mr. DeRuwe and his family farm outside of Connell. He is a lifelong Franklin County resident, and has lived in the district for 17 years. He was elected Chairman of the Board in 2006. He has 3 children who attend Connell Elementary, Olds Junior High, and Connell High.
Tim Taylor - Vice Chairman District 5 - Basin City
Mr. Taylor has lived in North Franklin all his life, and has served on the school board since 2003. He attended Basin City Elementary, OJH, and CHS before going on to Ricks College. He has children attending those same schools today. He and his wife, Stacey, farm outside Basin City.
Diana Crowther - Director District 4 - Mesa - Eltopia
Mrs. Crowther has lived on a family farm in North Franklin with her husband, Jed, for the past 20 years. They have four children: a graduate of Connell High School, and the others attending Mesa Elementary, Olds Junior High and Connell High School. Diana has been active in the district with the Math Team program for the past 10 years. She was appointed to serve on the board in 2008.
Roger Bailie - Director District 2 - City of Connell
Mr. Bailie initially served on the Board from 1974-86 and then returned to the board in 1994, spending many of those years as Chairman. He has lived in the district for over 60 years and has gained a wealth of experience in watching and being part of growth and change that has occurred in North Franklin during those years. Mr. Bailie is married and farms in the Connell area. He has three grown children and three grandchildren in school.
Kara Booker - Director District 3 - Basin City Rural
Mrs. Booker and her husband, Burl, reside in the northern part of District 3 with their four daughters. Mrs. Booker is a graduate of Connell High School and returned to the North Franklin area in 1990. Her daughters currently attend Connell Elementary, Olds Junior High and Connell High School. Mrs. Booker’s pride in the community and the schools she once represented as a student and athlete continues with her service on the board, to which she was elected in 2005.
