Bus Schedule Information
Bus schedules are published in the Franklin County Graphic one week prior to the start of school. Children should be at the bus stop five minutes prior to pick-up time.
General Information
The North Franklin School District is committed to operating the safest transportation system possible through good bus maintenance, continuous driver training, and high expectations for appropriate student behavior. This third component, appropriate student behavior, requires the help and cooperation of the students and you, the parent/guardian. The Transportation Department transports over 1,000 children every day during the school year. With two bus garages, a fleet of 40 buses, and a staff of over 40 drivers, the Transportation Department operates 30 daily bus runs. In addition, it provides service for extra curricular/special event trips, serving up to 46 students per trip.
